Hit-and-Run Crash in San Luis Obispo Injures Bicyclist
A hit-and-run crash in San Luis Obispo sent a bicyclist to the hospital on Wednesday morning. According to the Tribune News, the incident happened on the 700 block of Tank Farm Road, near the Marigold Shopping Center. Very few details have been released on how 68-year-old bicyclist Ernie Brink was struck by a car. Since the driver fled the scene, the incident is still under investigation. Jessica Jantos, a nurse, pulled over when she saw Brink in the middle of the road. Other motorists stopped to offer assistance and call the authorities. Brink was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
